This gown was exactly what I was expecting and i have worn Vanity Fair gowns for years. I was also very pleased that the color matched the color shown on Amazon.I thought there was an issue with receipt of the item and the company, Exquisite Form, immediately responded. I later realized the package had been delivered through USPS and had arrived on time but I had not checked my mailbox for several days so I didn’t know I had received it. However, this company sent personal notes which I appreciated. I look forward to ordering from them again through Amazon. They are an excellent company to deal with.Gown is a little thin although it’s silky material it seems a a little stiffer than my other gowns.Likes: Color, softness, comes out of washer & dryer beautifully, lightweight and not see-thru nor as sheer as some say, good length (I'm 5'2" and this comes just above my calf). Problem: It doesn't come in a size Small at all. I checked and none of the colors offered come in Small and that is what I need. I am a little overweight but this has more than enough room width-wise from shoulders to hem. It being so wide, the neck opening is far too wide and it easily falls off my shoulder all the time. I m constantly having to reach under my robe to pull the shoulder up off my arm. I was honestly hoping it would shrink in the dryer and fit then; didn't. I guess I'll try hand-sewing a seam down the middle of the back. Otherwise, this is perfect in every way and those out there who are overweight, even by a lot, should not have to worry about it being too small. Laying it out and measuring it at its widest point I come up with approx. 27" which would mean 54". Just wish there was a Small size.Way to thinI love the Vanity Fair nightgowns! The quality is great and they last forever without any sign of wear! Size is as expected!Very comfortable, moves with your body during the night. Good product at a decent price.The nightgown arrived very quickly and was as shown -- very nice, silky fabric with pretty embellishment around the neckline. I ordered a medium but the fit was more like a large so I had to return it. The return process was very easy and I received a confirmation email regarding my refund within days of mailing the package back to this company. No complaints -- great service all around.my wife really likes them... so very comfortableI ordered this as a Vanity Fair night gown but there are no labels so I am not sure. Colour is nice but not the violet I expected. My biggest problem with this product is the sizing. I ordered a 2X which is my regular size and I am swimming in it. The cut of the neckline is such that is is constantly slipping off my shoulders. I should have sent it back for a smaller size but opted instead to pin neckline with a safety pin. Strongly recommend ordering a size smaller than you normally wear.This gown is very pretty, however there has to be something wrong with the pattern. I am 5'2" ordered the xl [not just for size but I can't stand tight fitting clothes] and this didn't even come close to my knees.It’s a very nice nightgown - generous fit and lovely colour. Very thin which suits me fine but some people may prefer something more substantial.I received this and decided that it was a wee bit to see threw for my mother in a care home. Had it been a bit thicker it would have been great.You may as well wear a plastic bag, thin cheap material. I had searched for 100% cotton and this is what appeared.I foolishly thought it might be cotton like but not even close. I am seriously rethinking online shopping.
